HOA Dues:
Certified letters have been sent to lot owners with delinquent dues. Interest is accruing on all delinquent dues. Further action will be taken if necessary.

Improvements Around the Neighborhood:
  • The flag pole now has a completely brand new lighting system. We are proud to raise our flag at all hours of the day.
  • TCEQ has come out and inspected the dam. We got an okay verbal report, and we are waiting to receive the final written report.
  • We would like to thank all of the volunteers who have been mowing the shoulders of the road and park.
  • We would also like to thank all of the volunteers who have been picking up litter in the neighborhood and also along Lake Sheridan Road.

Lake Sheridan Estates Raffle:
We are doing a community raffle this year. The raffle will be at the annual meeting September 21st, 2024 at the Sheridan Community Center. Raffle tickets are still for sale. If you are interested in buying some tickets, please contact the secretary at the above information. We will be set up at the entrance of the neighborhood Labor Day Weekend selling raffle tickets.

Upcoming Anniversary:
Lake Sheridan Estates was chartered on September 13th, 1973. We are looking forward to celebrating our 51st year as a Homeowners Association and neighborhood.

Fines and Enforcement Policy:
We have completed a draft of an enforcement policy that will address the fines associated with deed restriction violations. This is required by House Bill 614. This will be approved at the meeting on August 10th, 2024. All lot owners will be made aware of the enforcement policy and the date that it is set to take effect.

Let's work together:
In 2024, we have new committees that are being put in place to involve the community in improving itself. Those committees are as follows:
Architectural Review Committee - Existing committee for reviewing major building projects around the neighborhood.
Research Committee - For advising the board of legalities and governing documents.
Park Committee - For upkeep of the Lake Sheridan Estates Park.
Community Relations Committee - Will work with the community and help organize events.
If you would like to volunteer for the betterment of the neighborhood. Please feel free to contact the secretary at the contact information listed above.

Be a Good Neighbor:
Check in with your neighbors and watch out for any suspicious activity. If you see any criminal activity please contact the authorities. Let’s help keep Lake Sheridan Estates safe.
